Hello, I am Gabriella and I am a freelance Illustrator. I was born in Pisa, Italy and I moved to the USA in 2008.

I have been on the President’s List consistently throughout my studies in Illustration at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, I have won the Memorial Cosgrove Scholarship for the Spring of 2018 and was selected to exhibit at the PJS Gallery’s 55th Student Exhibition with my work “Animal Guernica”in 2017.

In 2018 two of my works ( “An Illustrated Map of Pisa” and “Monster Pattern”) were selected to be exhibited in the Illustration Department “Red Shoe Award” exhibit at RMCAD.

Also in 2018 my work “A surprise for mom” got into the semifinals for the Adobe Achievement Awards.

Around 2012 I created

together with my sister, a website of free printable activities and decorations and I am the principal creator of kids activity for the website, which has about 3k users a month.

I love working with a mix of traditional and digital painting and my focus is on illustrating children’s books but I would also like the opportunity to illustrate something for adults. I am a voracious reader and I am often caught stealing books from my boys.

Drawing is what takes most of my time, besides my family and my two boys, but I never miss a Shakespeare play or a Radiohead concert.
